Every BFII safe is constructed with a 0.5″ solid steel plate door paired with a dual steel body reinforced by an 11-gauge outer steel barrier and a 0.3125″ inner steel liner. This robust steel-on-steel design is engineered to withstand aggressive pry and sledgehammer attacks, placing the BFII Series among the most secure residential gun safes available.

Fire protection is independently tested and certified by ETL, with the BFII Series achieving a 120-minute fire rating at 1200°F. AMSEC’s proprietary DryLight® fire barrier, combined with dual expanding door seals, helps protect firearms, documents, and valuables from extreme heat and smoke during prolonged fire exposure.

Security performance is further validated by a UL Residential Security Container (RSC) Level II rating—a distinction held exclusively by the BFII Series.
